We The People Conservative Caucus is a member driven caucus. Towards that end, initiatives will come and go depending on current events and the will of We The People.
Certain activities are inherent in our core values therefore we have the following standing initiatives.
WTP Caucus Discussion Group: Conservatives do not fear defending our positions. Quite the contrary, we enjoy articulating and defending our positions and values. Towards that end, WTPCC has established the “WTP Caucus Discussion Group” Facebook Group. WTP Caucus Discussion Group is a forum where citizens can introduce ideas, discuss, and debate them. Discussing and defending our positions makes them stronger and helps build informed voters.
Appointed Board Member Screening and Endorsements: We believe citizens should have input on who elected officials appoint to boards and commissioners and We The People will no longer tolerate elected officials appointing friends, financial supporters and other unqualified people who do not champion conservative values. WTPCC will have a standing committee which accepts applications for people who aspire to boards, vet them, interview them, and make endorsements of recommended candidates to the elected officials making the appointment.
Vetting and Endorsements of Candidates for Elected Office: We The People Caucus will vet, interview, and make endorsements of Republican and Independent Candidates running for office. Our endorsements will provide factual information to support the conclusions we make about candidates.
Candidate Debates: We The People will conduct fair and unbiased debates among candidates for elected offices in Moore County.
